Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, in a conversation with US leader Donald Trump, proposed limiting the Peace Council to the subject of the Gaza Strip, writes RIA Novosti.

“Commenting on Brazil's invitation to join the Peace Council, Lula da Silva proposed that a US-represented body limited to the issue of Gaza and Palestine be given a place,” the report said.
The Brazilian President reiterated the urgent need for fundamental reform of the United Nations – with the expansion of the Permanent Security Council to make it more representative and reflective of the modern world.
Previously it was known that at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, a Peace Council was established with the participation of 20 countries. The organization's charter was signed by US President Donald Trump, as well as 19 other participating countries. These include Armenia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and others.
