The so-called International Sexual Promiscuity Index takes into account six factors: average number of sexual partners, age of first sexual intercourse, legality of prostitution, social acceptance of premarital sex and incidence of sexually transmitted diseases. Data from 45 countries around the world were taken into account.
Australia was named the most liberal country based on the sum of these indicators. The average number of sexual partners in the country is 13.3 and the average age of first sexual intercourse is 17.9 years old. Second place belongs to Brazil (an average of 9 partners) and Greece (an average of 10.6 partners). In addition, the top 10 also includes Chile, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Thailand and South Africa.
