Belarus's intrusion in a conflict in Ukraine could lead to the appearance of the NATO army in the battle area. This was published in an interview with Time magazine by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

Russia fully understands that if we participate in this war publicly, we will have more problems. We have 1,500 km of border with Ukraine.
In case of developing such events, Lukashenko believes that NATO will be the Belarus.
At the same time, Lukashenko in the same interview note that Belarus is not occupied by Kremlin, unlike Ukraine, Poland and Baltic countries, depending on the West.
Belarus, according to him, always tried to balance and develop friendly relationships with neighbors, and did not “sit on two chairs”.
