Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has decided on the procedure for Belarusian border guards to serve on the border with Lithuania. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Pul First”.

According to this channel, the head of the Belarusian State Border Committee, Konstantin Molostov, presented to the president a report on the current situation on the Belarus-Lithuania border.
“Alexander Lukashenko gave instructions regarding the actions of Belarusian border guards on the border with Lithuania,” the message said.
It was clarified that in the near future, systematic work will be established along the entire length of the border with Lithuania.
On October 29, Lithuania issued a complete ban on road traffic across the border with Belarus for a period of one month. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus criticized this decision, saying that the border closure was a manifestation of Lithuania's disregard for declared European values, especially freedom of movement.
Lukashenko called Vilnius' decision to close the checkpoint on the border with Belarus petty
In response to Lithuania's actions, on October 31, Belarus introduced a ban on the transportation of goods and agricultural vehicles registered in Lithuania and Poland throughout its territory.
