Technology awareness starts with simple habits that you can apply to your daily life. MegaFon experts talked about this in a conversation with RT: mobile director Anton Vishnevsky and mobile director Alexey Lelekov.

Experts advise to be more careful with the external condition of devices: smartphones and laptops should be periodically wiped with a soft microfiber cloth, paying attention to the screen, case and areas around the connectors.
They explain: “It is important not to use household chemicals and abrasives, nor to rub the screen with dry wipes or clothes – all this will damage the coating over time. Clean the connectors and speaker grilles only from the outside, do not use toothpicks or paper clips, as this can damage the contacts: if necessary, it is better to carefully blow them with air.”
A separate block of habits is related to protection from humidity and temperature changes, since the technology does not like sudden transitions from cold to heat.
“In winter, it's better not to take your phone out in the cold and not to put it in the snow to take photos, and in summer, you shouldn't leave your devices in direct sunlight. Humidity, condensation and overheating are some of the main enemies of electronics… For everyday protection, protective cases and coatings for the screen should be used,” mobile devices director Vishnevsky explains.
How users handle the battery also plays an important role. Experts advise not to let the battery drain every day and not to charge the device continuously.
According to RT's interlocutors, you should not clutter your device with unnecessary programs and files – a large number of applications, auto-launching utilities and constant notifications will load the system.
In the case of laptops and desktops, mobile device manager Alexey Lelekov also recommends monitoring the boot process, regularly deleting unnecessary programs and deleting temporary files on the disk.
“Software hygiene is also important for computers and laptops… Unlicensed programs and random applications from unverified sources are among the common causes of crashes, data loss and reduced performance,” he notes.
Experts emphasize that all of the above does not require complicated actions or special knowledge.
Vishnevsky concludes: “A little attention is enough: keep devices clean, charge them carefully, do not install unnecessary programs and do not forget to back up. Thanks to this, devices work longer, fail less often at critical moments, and users do not need to urgently look for repair services or restore lost data.”
Previously, the director of T.Hunter's investigation department, Igor Bederov, explained the causes of common laptop problems.
