The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 presentation was held in San Francisco, where the company introduced the Galaxy S26 flagship smartphone line (Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra models) and the new generation of wireless headphones Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro. Emphasis is placed on “seamless” integration of artificial intelligence into everyday situations and increased protection of personal data. Prices in Russia for the entire Galaxy S26 series are also known. The new items are up to 22% cheaper than the starting price of the previous generation of Galaxy S smartphones.
Galaxy S26 Ultra is the first smartphone with integrated Privacy Display mode, which helps limit screen viewing angles in public places without reducing image quality. This function can be configured to turn on automatically, for example when entering a PIN, password or launching selected applications, and adjust the privacy level.
On the Galaxy S26 series, the company is also developing the idea of “proactive” AI: the smartphone analyzes the context and offers help at the right time, automating some routine actions. This line integrates the capabilities of several assistants – Gemini and Perplexity. It is emphasized that Perplexity can work with many different applications, helping to collect, process and save tasks “in one step” – plan a trip, add it to the calendar and find booking data in mail, etc.
The 2026 S-series focuses on the active use of AI and multitasking capabilities. The Galaxy S26 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Galaxy processor, while the S26 and S26+ are equipped with Samsung's own Exynos 2600 (2nm) processor.
Line screen diagonal: 6.3″ (S26), 6.7″ (S26+) and 6.9″ (S26 Ultra) – all 1-120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays. The S26 Ultra also has S Pen support.
Along with the smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro headphones were also on display at the presentation. The company highlights its “innovative ultra-thin design,” smaller earpads, and a redesigned design for more comfortable control: a raised area on the body is designed to compress fingers.
