The US Senate has confirmed billionaire Jared Isaacman as head of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). They write about it RIA Novosti related to the voting results.

Isaacman's candidacy, nominated by US President Donald Trump, was supported by 67 senators and 30 voted against. He will soon be sworn in as the new head of NASA, replacing Sean Duffy on an interim basis.
Jared Isaacman has a bachelor's degree in aviation. In 2011, this billionaire founded the company Draken International, specializing in training pilots for the US Armed Forces. The majority of the shares were later sold to Blackstone.
Isaacman is the commander of the first private human spaceflight, Inspiration4, aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon. He himself became the first non-professional astronaut to go into space.
