New York, July 25 /TASS /. Starlink satellite failure is related to software. This has been announced by Vice President of Michael Nichols.

“The reason for the incident is the refusal of internal software services to control the basic network,” Nichols wrote in X. He added that now Starlink's work has been restored mostly. According to him, failure violated the work for about 2.5 hours.
Previously, users of some countries complained about the incident at Starlink. According to the Downdetector service, 60% of users reported unsuccessful issues on the Internet and 40% complained about turning off completely. In the United States, about 63,000 users reported violations in Starlink's work. Great failures are also recorded in England, Australia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
