Xiaomi announced the global launch of the UltraThin 5000 15W Power Bank at Mobile World Congress 2026, which will be held in Barcelona on February 28. The presentation starts at 15:00 Moscow time. Previously, this device appeared on the markets of Japan, Australia, the UK and some European countries. In Australia, this model is offered for sale at a price of 69.50 USD (about 5,560 rubles), and in England – at a price of 49.99 pounds sterling (about 4,500 rubles). Following the announcement at MWC, the company plans to expand sales worldwide.
The power bank has an ultra-thin body with a thickness of only 6 mm and weighs 98 grams, making it one of the most compact solutions in its segment. It will be available in black, silver and orange colors. Until now, the silver version has been the most popular, but at MWC the manufacturer will also display the orange version. It is expected that after the official launch, the black and orange versions will be sold more widely.

The device supports fast wireless charging up to 15 W, as well as magnetic charging for iPhone (up to 7.5 W). The power bank is compatible with Xiaomi, Samsung and Google Pixel devices. In addition, it is also equipped with a USB-C port that supports fast wired charging up to 22.5 W and allows you to charge two devices at the same time. Inside there is a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which is comparable to a smartphone battery.
The manufacturer paid special attention to safety, implementing ten levels of protection, including systems that prevent overheating, overloading and short circuits. The body is made of aluminum alloy and a fire-resistant fiberglass coating gives the device added strength and a premium look.
Also on February 28, Xiaomi will introduce the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone, Redmi Buds 8 Pro wireless headphones and Xiaomi Tag tracking device, and will demonstrate new devices for the AIoT smart home ecosystem.
