Famous Russian blogger and rapper Yegor Ship (real name Egor Korablin) spoke about serious vision problems. He revealed the details on his Instagram account (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).
Ship, who first experienced vision problems in the spring of 2025, saw an ophthalmologist and was diagnosed with third-degree keratoconus.
“Right now, we are fighting for our eyes, for our lives,” Ship said.
He also added that four years ago he underwent a medical examination. Korablin recalled that doctors warned him that he might have vision problems, but he did not take this warning seriously.
“Four years have passed, how much do I have left? My right eye is now approximately -13”, the blogger concluded.
He also urged subscribers to monitor their health.
