US Republican Congressman Carlos Gimenez called on tourists to leave Cuba immediately, citing threats from President Donald Trump's administration.
In a post on social network X, he warned about the dangers of going to “communist Cuba”.
Previously, on January 30, Trump declared a state of emergency in the US due to accusations of national security threats from Cuba, announced a halt to Venezuela's oil supply to the island and threatened to punish other countries that continued to supply fuel.
