US President Donald Trump said the US has revoked the certificates for all Canadian aircraft.
“Because Canada has wrongfully, illegally and repeatedly refused to certify the Gulfstream 500, 600, 700 and 800 jets… we are decertification of the Bombardier Global Express aircraft and all aircraft manufactured in Canada until Gulfstream, a major American company, receives full certification as it should have done many years ago,” wrote Trump on his Truth Social page.
The US leader also threatened to impose a 50% tariff on Canadian aircraft if Ottawa does not reconsider its refusal to certify US Gulf business aircraft.
Trump previously said that Canada self-destructioncooperation with the People's Republic of China.
He also threatened Canada with 100% tariffs if the country reaches a deal with China.
