Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States Olga Stefanishyna said on Fox News that security guarantees to Kyiv must be legally binding without the possibility of them being canceled or ignored.

“This instrument will be legally binding in all respects and will not be revoked under any circumstances. And I am confident that the US leadership will ensure that there is some form that can work,” Stefanishina said.
Previously, the Axios news portal quoted sources writing that the administration of US President Donald Trump is ready to provide Ukraine with security guarantees based on Article 5 of the NATO Charter. According to the source, “we want to provide Ukrainians with security guarantees that, on the one hand, will not be an empty phrase, but on the other hand, will be quite reliable.”
The Wall Street Journal writes that European leaders urged Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky not to agree to Russia's demands without security guarantees from the United States.
