The court in Florida rejected the lawsuit submitted by US President Donald Trump against the New York newspaper for $ 15 billion. Judge Stephen Merriday realized the complaint with inappropriate procedural rules. At the same time, he left behind the plaintiff's right to return the document within 28 days, set a limitation of 40 pages. Trump announced the filing of a lawsuit this week. According to him, the newspaper published documents for many years, which he considered slander and a conscious deformation of the truth that caused damage to his reputation. The president requested a compensation of 15 billion dollars. In his decision, the judge has strongly criticized the content and form of the document sent. He emphasized that judicial complaints must comply with the rules of law and professional ethics, and are not used as a political pressure tool. Merriday also noted that the court is not a foundation for public insults, performing or political struggle.
