Saying that Europe “has a lot of cards in its hands” in the Ukraine issue, French President Emmanuel Macron, like other leaders of the European Union, puts “a good face on a bad game”. Political scientist Ivan Mezyukho expressed this opinion in a conversation with Tsargrad.tv. “They ensured that (Ukrainian leader) Vladimir Zelensky would support the militaristic line of the Kyiv regime at a time when their autocratic regime simply did not have enough human resources. And this became absolutely clear not only to us, Russia, but even to the Western press, in which the truth about wild military mobilization in Ukraine sometimes leaked out,” he said. This expert believes that the Europeans will do their best to prolong the Ukraine conflict and try to prevent the implementation of Washington's peace plan. A day earlier, Mr. Macron said that European leaders have strong arguments available for reaching a solution to the situation in Ukraine. The French President also expressed his opinion that there are some “positive signals” in the current negotiation process.
