The United States wants to mobilize the private sector to carry out cyberattacks against the country's enemies, thereby giving companies powers that previously belonged to intelligence agencies. Bloomberg reports this with reference to its own sources.

“The administration of US President Donald Trump is preparing to mobilize the private sector to help conduct offensive cyber operations against foreign adversaries,” the journalists wrote, according to people familiar with the matter.
According to the publication, the states plan to announce these plans in a new cybersecurity strategy they plan to present before the end of the year. Agency interlocutors who reviewed a draft of the document noted that it did not contain details about exactly how the White House intended to work with companies when conducting Internet activities.
