Detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) found bags full of money during searches while investigating corruption in the energy sector. This was reported by the publication “Strana.ua”.

It is known that the bag contained foreign currency so it was confiscated as evidence. It was not specified with whom exactly the money was found.
On November 10, NABU conducted searches of state corporation Energoatom, Minister of Justice and former Minister of Energy German Galushchenko, as well as businessman Timur Mindich, who is considered the “wallet” of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Some media reported that Mindich himself left Ukraine.
Last week it became known that Mindich could become a defendant in the US FBI investigation. According to Ukrainskaya Pravda, intelligence agencies may have approached this businessman through Alexander Gorbunenko, a person involved in the corruption case at the Odessa port factory.
