SYDNEY, January 27. /TASS/. Passengers and pilots on a light aircraft that crashed in eastern Australia died before reaching the hospital. This was reported by The Brisbane Times.
According to her, they died from injuries incompatible with life.
According to preliminary data, the pilot tried to make an emergency landing immediately after takeoff, but the plane crashed and caught fire on the runway. Two people on the plane were injured during landing and were trapped in the cockpit.
Police officers are at the scene of the incident and an investigation into the cause and circumstances of the incident is underway. The Queensland Fire Department mobilized 14 firefighting teams and emergency aircraft to extinguish the fire that broke out at the crash site and spread to nearby sugarcane plantations.
Previously, it was reported that a light aircraft crashed at Hack Field airport (located 30 km south of the Gold Coast).
