The Netherlands' KLM and France's Air France have temporarily suspended flights over Israel, Iraq and Iran amid rising tensions in the region. This was reported by portals NU.nl and N12.
Flights to Dubai, Riyadh, Dammam and Tel Aviv have been canceled or suspended. Both airlines explained this decision was due to the need to ensure maximum safety for passengers and crew.
Dutch Foreign Minister David van Wiel noted that KLM was forced to independently assess risks due to the military buildup in the region and unpredictable US actions. In January 2026, British Airways, Wizz Air, Flydubai and Lufthansa Group also suspended or adjusted flights to Israel and areas in the Middle East.
Previously, MK, citing the Hydrometeorological Center, reported that in some areas of Moscow, frost will reach minus 26.4 degrees.
